How Our Projects Make a Difference

  • In the last four years, 4,934 volunteers have collected 132,188 pounds of trash from our parks, rivers, and roadways!
  • Since 2013, more than 6000 kids have learned how the streams in their backyards connect to Long Island Sound – and how to make sure their streams and ponds stay clean and healthy.
  • TLGV has awarded more than $1.1 million in grants to preserve and promote our historic and cultural resources.
  • This year, more than 50,000 people discovered something new about The Last Green Valley by participating in Walktober.
