Agriculture in the Community: Branching into Forestry

November 3 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Come enjoy hands on activities to learn about what forestry is and how it benefits us, just in time for the Christmas tree season! James L. Goodwin was a large part of the start of forestry within Connecticut, so we hold a unique perspective and extensive history here at Goodwin! This program is geared for kids of grade school age, but all are welcome!
Sigma Alpha is a professional agricultural sorority affiliated with the University of Connecticut College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources. The Agriculture in the Community program is part of a national mandate to educate the public about various agricultural endeavors.

Programs are free unless otherwise noted. Donations are encouraged.
Pre-registration is not required unless otherwise noted.
