Bark ID for Goodwin Trees

March 23 @ 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Ever wanted to learn how to identify a tree by the bark and not by the leaves?  Join Master Naturalist Caroline Driscoll as you learn all about bark.  Learn about how it’s made, why it’s so important, and what it does for the tree.  You will get to go outside and identify a few trees of your own.

Caroline Driscoll has served on the CFPA Board of Directors since 2005. She has taught at both preschool and college levels. Her love of the outdoors and teaching led to a position at the Connecticut College Arboretum where she continues to consult while she works toward a certificate in horticultural illustration at the New York Botanical Garden and her Master Naturalist certification at the Goodwin Conservation Center.

Programs are free unless otherwise noted. Donations are encouraged.
Pre-registration is not required unless otherwise noted.
