Bullying: How to make friends and shut down bullying in your school & community

Tuesday, November 14, 3:00 pm

Open to tweens in grades 4-6 and their  parents & caregivers

No one deserves to be bullied – at school or online.

In this workshop, students will learn how to respond when they see bullying, what to do if they’re getting bullied online, how to help a friend, and where to find reliable resources to prevent and end bullying.

At the same time, parents & caregivers will come away with strategies and resources for supporting their middle schoolers through friendships and bullying.

Teen Dating: Navigating love, relationships and heartbreak in high school

Tuesday, November 21 at 3:00 pm

Open to teens in grades 7-12 and their parents & caregivers

Love and relationships in high school can feel like an emotional roller-coaster.

In this workshop, teens will discuss real-life scenarios and learn how to communicate their wants & needs in relationships, recognize red flags, prevent breakup violence, and what to say to friend in an unhealthy relationship.

At the same time, parents & caregivers will be invited to explore their own values and learn how to support their teens through romantic relationships.
