For the Common Good: Historic and Scenic Town Commons & Greens of The Last Green Valley

The Brooklyn Historical Society  invites you on a journey to the many greens and commons of our National Heritage Corridor. Bill Reid, Chief Ranger of The Last Green Valley National Heritage Corridor will present the illustrated lecture For The Common Good: Historic and Scenic Town Commons & Greens of The Last Green Valley, an exploration of several town commons and greens within the 35 towns that comprise The Last Green Valley.  The exploration will uncover the history, settlement patterns, and architecture as well as the role these important landscapes played in the development of The Last Green Valley towns.  Bill will also provide materials about The Last Green Valley National Heritage Corridor such as maps and guides.
