This 6 lesson class is the perfect opportunity to increase your knitting knowledge beyond the basics of knitting I. The main objective of this class is to learn to work with your yarn in the round, as is necessary for most hat, sock or mitten patterns. You will learn this technique on both circular needles and double pointed needles while in the process of making a hat. you will also learn shaping using increases and decreases, the all important gauge and swatching, pattern reading and blocking. An opportunity to take a trip to Webs Yarn Store in Amherst will be offered, at which time you can purchase yarn for the hat you will be knitting.
