The Railroads and The Industrial Revolution

The Brooklyn Historical Society invites you on a journey to the 19th century when railroads were the primary means of transporting passengers and freight. Bill Pearsall, Putnam Municipal Historian, will present an illustrated lecture The Railroads and The Industrial Revolution. The program will focus on the impact that the railroads had on Northeast Connecticut for both industry and personal travel.
