Winter Tree ID for Beginners

January 20 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join Master Naturalist and fellow tree-observer Lynn Kochiss for a program designed to help beginners unravel the mysteries of tree identification. The first half of the program will be held inside the museum and will focus on how to use bark, twigs, and buds as clues for winter tree identification. For the second half, we will explore the area around the Conservation Center to see how many trees we can identify using these clues.

Dress for the weather, including appropriate footwear.

Bring binoculars and field guides if you have them, or borrow ours.

Programs are free unless otherwise noted. Donations are encouraged.
Pre-registration is not required unless otherwise noted.
