James L. Goodwin State Forest, ust off Route 6, offers 10 miles of hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing & horse trails in this 3 square mile forest. Pine Acres Lake is a shallow 135 acres, with boat launch (electric motors only) for fishing & paddling ’round the stumps. Conservation Center focuses on nature & forestry, offering frequent & varied programs for all ages. Enjoy gardens, letterboxing, youth group camping, picnic pavilion (1st come/1st serve), or hop on the Air Line Trail. Open all year. No fee.
