Leffingwell House Museum / The Society of the Founders of Norwich

The Leffingwell House Historic Museum, circa 1675, shows the architectural development in CT homes, from a two room home into a pre-revolutionary tavern, ending as a 1776 townhouse. Interpreters evoke the independent spirit and lifestyle of early America using displays of artifacts from 1645 to the Civil War. Saturday & Sunday, April-October; 11-3; by appointment; $8.
