16th Pride in Southbridge Concert with Giuliano
June 30 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Sponsored by the Friends of Jacob Edwards Library.
The Jacob Edwards Library is pleased to host the 16th Pride in Southbridge event with a performance with Giuliano.
Giuliano has been performing as a solo acoustic act since 2013 after spending his formative years on stage traversing the worlds of Theatre and Rock and Roll. In 2016 Giuliano culminated his studies at Berklee College of Music where he earned a degree in performance.
Hailing from Worcester Mass, today he can be found performing in and around the New England music scene. In addition to his solo act, Giuliano fronts the band Hot Letter. He and the band have received awards for Best Male Vocalist, Best Rock Act, and Best Jam and Groove Act at the 2016 Worcester Music Awards, as well as Best “Up-and-Comers” Act in 2010.
Giuliano is also one half of Wildcard Characters, a vibey queer duo he launched in 2020 with his partner Joshua Croke. Giuliano has performed at various noteworthy venues including Daryl’s House in Pawling NY, Hard Rock Cafe in Boston, Mechanic’s Hall in Worcester, and The Wren in NYC. He has shared the stage in collaboration with top musicians including 90s songstress Paula Cole, rock and blues legend Al Kooper (Blood Sweat and Tears, Bob Dylan), and opened several times for Joe Cocker’s touring band, Mad Dogs Unchained. Giuliano and Hot Letter hosted an impromptu jam session featuring Gloria Estefan at one of their hometown summer concerts in 2016.
In addition to being a natural entertainer, Giuliano is a songwriter and his live performances weave unique interpretations of well-loved songs with his poignant and inspired original work.
