Acorn Adventure for Families: In the Muck

April means muck and that muck is full of life! Frogs and their eggs, salamanders, fish and turtles use the muck, and we’ll explore the muck at the edge of Garrison Pond in Chaplin with TLGV Rangers Christie Hazen and Bill Reid. We’ll bring the nets and water buckets to gather the critters and give them a closer inspection. Wear boots that will keep your feet dry and plan on getting dirty! We’ll also have some fun information on some to the critters we expect to find!
