Acorn Adventure: Putting on a Winter Coat

November 19 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Have you ever wondered how animals survive the New England winter? Join TLGV and Ed Smith, a master naturalist instructor and science teacher, as he shows us how animals get ready for winter. This is a hands-on experience with real animal pelts and reproduction animal skull to show us the differences between predators and prey. We’ll also enjoy other activities including the hibernation fame and learn how to play possum. Registration is not required but appreciated to ensure we have enough materials. Email Bill Reid at Bill@tlgv.org or call 860-774-3300 with any questions or to register.
