Author Event with Finola Austin

November 14 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Otis Library, in partnership with the New England Chapter of the Brontë Society, will host a virtual program with Finola Austin, author of Brontë’s Mistress, on Saturday, November 14, at 2pm!

Ms. Austin’s debut novel explores the scandalous historical love affair between Branwell Brontë and Lydia Robinson, giving voice to the woman who allegedly corrupted her son’s tutor and brought down the Brontë family. Finola Austin, also known as the Secret Victorianist on her award-winning blog, is an England-born, Northern Ireland-raised, Brooklyn-based historical novelist and lover of the nineteenth century. She will discuss her research into the life of Lydia Robinson and her relationship to the Brontë family.

Registration is required for this free program. To register and receive the Zoom link, please e-mail Julie at Adultprograms@otislibrarynorwich.org or register on our online calendar.
