Concert–Hearth: on finding home

Come experience a thought provoking concert exploring aspects of home, shelter, and comfort performed by Connecticut’s versatile vocal chamber choir, Voices of Concinnity. “Hearth: on finding home” will feature music by Eric Whitacre, Billie Ellish, Susan LaBarr, B.E. Boykin, Nico Gutierrez, and include a brand-new premiere by composer Brian Jones. Proceeds from this concert will benefit F.O.S.T.E.R. Independence Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization with a mission to help Connecticut “independent students” (students experiencing family estrangement, housing insecurity, or foster care) to successfully graduate from college. “Hearth: on finding home” is on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 7pm at Storrs Congregational Church.
