Importance of Locally Grown Food a presentation by Zack LaVergne of Mustard Seed Microfarm

Zack LaVergne is the owner of Mustard Seed Microfarm in Southbridge.  He will talk about his venture of what started as a small backyard garden in 2017, and has grown into a ¼ acre Certified Naturally Grown market garden specializing in growing super fresh fruits and vegetables for the local community.  Zack is passionate about farming and is particularly interested in growing and preserving heirloom fruits and vegetables.  Zack also serves his community as the chair of the Southbridge Agricultural Commission which works to preserve and promote agriculture in Southbridge. Sponsored by Friends of Jacob Edwards Library .
