iNaturalist – Community Science at its Best!

August 18 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join Goodwin’s new educator, Amber, for a hands-on introduction to the iNaturalist app. We will start with a demonstration on how to collect natural history observations in the app. Then we’ll head out to document as many species as possible in the gardens! To use iNaturalist you need a mobile device or a camera and a computer.

**Bring a smartphone or tablet with the iNaturalist app already installed, or any digital camera you happen to have, even if it doesn’t have GPS capability. And you are welcome to bring your own laptop computer (optional) if you want to follow along with the demo.**

Registration required. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.

Please note that our in-person programs have a limited capacity, and many fill up quickly. Please register early and fill out the registration form individually for each person in your group.

If you need to cancel email Eoin Horning-Kane at eoin.horning-kane@ct.gov
