September 12 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Together we will practice gentle movements in a way that works for you – for more ease, strength and flexibility, mood balance, and better sleep. The stressors of daily life can cause us to clench, contract, and tighten up – often without us even noticing. Before we know it, we’re tensing and bracing against life, rather than enjoying it and welcoming it with flexibility and ease.
In this 5-class session, we’ll draw upon slow, mindful movements to “come back home” to the body, becoming more aware of sensation, the body’s messages of what it needs for optimum health. We will practice balance and standing / seated movements, strengthen and stretch different muscle groups, and close each class with a short guided relaxation.
All levels are welcome; modifications will be offered with the intention of each class being enjoyable and feeling good. Please bring a Yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing. Chairs are available for all, and will be incorporated in the classes.
Come back home to yourself!
