On the Job: Historic Songs of American Work and Trades
September 14 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

A musical celebration of occupations of the past performed by noted local historian-musicians Rick Spencer and Dawn Indermuehle. Their songs will chronicle the lives of our nation’s workers: farmers, peddlers, sailors, housewives, railroaders, soldiers, cowboys, and others. In addition, the program will include a discussion of the labor movement in America. The Brooklyn Historical Society presentation will be held at the Trinity Parish Hall, 7 Providence Road (Route 6), Brooklyn.
