Our final event of the Fall season is happening this Sunday, October 22nd at 1 PM!
Don’t miss this opportunity to join Opacum Executive Director Laney Wilder for a beautiful autumn hike – and just in time for peak foliage! We’ll be exploring the Claire Birtz Wildlife Sanctuary and the Gradon and Virginia Morse Woodland Preserve in Southbridge for this walk, which is part of The Last Green Valley’s Walktober series.

The Claire Birtz Wildlife Sanctuary Preserve and Gradon and Virginia Morse Woodland Preserve are located at 444 Tipton Rock Rd in Southbridge, MA. Please be aware that sections of Tipton Rock Road are impassable! Do not approach from Blackmer Rd. or Lebanon Hill. Take Rt. 169 (N. Woodstock Road). Park at the trailhead parking area on Tipton Rock Rd.Â
