Season Opening at the Leffingwell

On April 6, the doors of history will open at the Leffingwell House Museum with a celebration of the 244th anniversary of the Battle of Concord/Lexington that started the Revolution. Witness a reenactment of the Lexington Alarm Letter being delivered to Christopher Leffingwell followed by a presentation on the history of the Battle and the First Alarm that was sent to tell patriots that the war had begun. Appreciate the Art of 18th Century Chocolate making with chocolatier Robert Lecce, have a taste and remember that Christopher Leffingwell in Norwich had the first Chocolate Mill in CT. Check out the scrapbook display in the Norwich Room and appreciate the new additions to our collection. Enjoy Leffingwell cocoa and chocolaty refreshments.
