The James L. Goodwin Conservation Center Master Naturalist Program is currently accepting applications.

March 10 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

This program is designed for people who want to expand their knowledge and awareness of the natural environment through study and field exploration of Connecticut’s varied ecological treasures. Participants learn in Connecticut’s outdoor classrooms, including wetland, coastal, forest, meadow, and sand dunes, and other habitats.

New and exciting in 2023! We are excited to offer new speakers, field trips and resources. Also, to accommodate our student’s busy schedules, the program can now be completed in one year. Participants attend one Saturday field trip every month and enhance their field learning with weekday evening webinars.

The Goodwin Master Naturalist program is provided by the Friends of Goodwin Forest, in partnership with the Connecticut Forest & Park Association and the CT Department of Energy & Environmental Protection.

Applications are due March 10, 2023. For more information and to register, visit THIS LINK.
