The Remnants of Love Exhibit

January 6 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

During the month of January, the Jacob Edwards Library is pleased to present an exhibit by artist Zachary Jolin.

Biography /artist statement — Zach Jolin resides in central Massachusetts. Being interested in art at a young age he began taking classes and excelled. He entered two Southbridge competitions through the art program and placed 3rd for pencils at the age of 9 and then the following year he received 1st place for another piece. Later on as an adult he enrolled in the Art Instruction School and completed the two year beginners course.

Currently most of his art work is inks and acrylic paints. The Remnants of Love was first painted in 2015 where only two were made. But then the concept was revisited in 2019. In that year alone Zachary had completed over 20 hand painted pieces with different themes, characters, backgrounds and various colors. Several were commissioned and others are just ideas ‘thrown together’. These paintings have been displayed in local libraries, salons, restaurants, night clubs and art community centers.

Although art can be perceived differently by others, here is Zach’s vision. Enjoy!
