Artists Statement:
I am inspired by the majesty of nature and the light that reveals the color on dappled waters, glowing skies, and distant fields. Painting the landscape evokes an inner peace for me and appreciation of the simple things in life that reveal the beauty of God’s creation.

Biography:
Veronica Furst comes from a large family of artists and musicians in New Jersey, her birthplace. She began her artistic career studying oil painting at the age of 16. Throughout her life she continued to paint in watercolor, oil, and most recently, pastel. She is the recipient of numerous awards for her paintings and has been awarded signature status in the Pastel Society of New Jersey. Veronica has been  encouraged and inspired by two of her sisters who are also painters.
