Winter Camp

Coed, Ages 13-17

Teenage campers come to learn more about themselves and their diabetes, all while having a winter blast of fun! Under the guidance of our health care team, campers will take a more involved role in their self-diabetes care, including charting blood sugars and calculating insulin doses. A past participant said, “It’s a stress-free, judgment-free zone to meet new people and learn about yourself.”

Parents do you feel like there is more to those teen talks than just the birds and the bees! Do you want your teenager to understand how teen topics such as college, sex, drugs, and alcohol are affected by having diabetes? Teenage campers come to learn more about themselves and their diabetes, all while having a winter blast of fun!
