Acorn Adventures — Amphibians & Reptiles

 5/07/2022 @ 10:00 am

Join TLGV Rangers Bill Reid and Christie Hazen to discover the world of amphibians and reptiles. We’ll meet up at Garrison Park in Chaplin and walk the shoreline of Darling Pond to see what type of frogs, turtles and other critters live there. Christie will bring her black diamond turtle and milk snake for families to see and touch and we’ll be using nets to catch tadpoles too (we’ll release them when we are done). The program starts at 10:00 am. Garrison Park is located just behind the Chaplin Town Hall located on Route 198 in Chaplin, 41.80175, -72.12455. For additional information contact Bill Reid at 860-774-3300 or bill@tlgv.org. Acorn Adventures are always free thanks to the sponsorship of Centreville Bank.
