Night Sky Adventures – Moon Shadow

 4/08/2022 @ 7:30 pm

There is a curious phenomenon that occurs once a month on the surface of the moon. In two separate locations at the same time and by a quirk of craters and the sun’s light there appears ax X and a V on the moon. Join us as we concentrate on the Moon this spring and hope to get a glimpse of these and other interesting features of the Moon. The vast majority of planets are morning “stars”, so we’ll look at the Moon and some deep sky objects. Be sure to dress for the weather. If you have a telescope bring it and join the hunt.
