OpeningDay at Leffingwell, 1775 – The Revolution has Begun

The Revolution has begun with the arrival of the Lexington Alarm. Programs start at 11 am with the raising of the American Flag and Grand Union flag by Norwich Scouting. At 11:30 am there is a reenactment of the Lexington Alarm delivery to Christopher Leffingwell, followed by ‘what will happen next’ by Gov.John Trumbull and Jedediah Huntington with their preparations for the coming conflict. Museum tours, Living History, Big Bear Trading, 6th CT Reg., 350th Anniversary cake! Hosted by Leffingwell House Museum. Museum tours are $8.
