Partial Solar Eclipse & Moon Viewing Party

Join NASA Solar System Ambassador Geoff McLean & Kim McLean, TLGV’s Lead Night Sky Rangers, as they help us view the partial solar eclipse, which begins at about 12:15 pm. We will be able to see only about 20 percent of the sun being obscured by the moon, allowing us to view the craters’ walls as they stand out in relief to the sun. Let’s observe what happens to the temperature during the eclipse.
