The Miniature Plants of Eastern Connecticut

Explore, discover and hear stories about the miniature plants that can be found right below your feet! Dr. Bernard Goffinet of UConn’s Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology will share insights into the native mosses of Northeastern Connecticut on this short hike through the HEEP. Hike will include some forays off trail to hunt for mosses, so sturdy footwear and long pants are recommended. Registration required.
