TLGV Adventure: Fall Equinox Hike to the Bi-State Marker

Join TLGV to kick off the fall season with a 4-mile round-trip hike to the Bi-State Marker between CT and RI. We’ll travel on the Narragansett and Tippecansset Trails in the Green Falls area of Pachaug State Forest for a moderately difficulty hike with a few steep, rocky sections. Visit the “Dinosaur Caves,” learn about King Philip’s War, the messy story of the state border and more. Leashed Dogs Welcomed. Main access via Rt. 138 or Rt. 49 (via Fish Rd.). Follow Green Fall Pond Rd. about 10 mins. (dirt forest road) to boat launch and campground area.
