The Sturbridge Trails Committee is sponsoring a trails cleanup day on April 19, 2025 from 8:30 to 12:00 pm. All volunteers will meet at the Riverlands Parking lot located at 52 Stallion Hill Road in Sturbridge. The event will focus cleanup and maintenance activities across the properties maintained by the committee which include Riverlands, Leadmine, Heins Farm, Plimpton, Long Pond, and Fiske Hill parcel. Volunteers will walk the trails picking up trash along the way, removing downed wood, cutting brush back, paint marking the trails, and removing trash from trail parking lots. Trash bags, gloves, safety glasses, water and light snacks will be provided as long as supplies last. Hosted by Town of Sturbridge Trails Committee
