Trolley Walk

Near the turn of the 20th century, trolleys exploded in popularity, racing through our rural farm towns to connect our villages and main streets. Just 30 years later, they had nearly vanished completely. Join TLGV staff member Nick Velles on a 1.2-mile walk on the Quinebaug River Trail – an old trolley route on the way from Central Village to Danielson – as we look at photos and talk about the local lines.
