This was the home of Governor Jonathan Trumbull (1710-1785), the only Colonial Governor to support the American Revolution. He was known as the Patriot Governor. Built around 1735, the home is furnished with many Trumbull family possessions. The museum is owned by the CT Daoughters of the American Revolution. The Wadsworth Stable, originally from Hartford, showcases the exhibit of antique transportation.
