Chief Ranger Bill Reid of The Last Green Valley Heritage Corridor will teach children about animals in the great outdoors! Learn about the types of animals you might see in Connecticut. See and touch animal skull reproductions, and learn how to tell if the skull belongs to a carnivore, herbivore or omnivore. Each child will leave with a Take & Make activity! Indian Dance Workshop (ages 6-12)

In this workshop Sarada Nori will teach children a brief history and origin of Indian classical dance and use hand gestures to embody the elements of nature. Nori is the founder and artistic director of Layavinyasa, a non-profit organization that propagates Kuchipudi dance and Carnatic classical music originating from South India. Parents are welcome to join in the last 10 minutes for a concluding presentation. Please register for a spot.
