4.  Vacation Rental of a Home for a Week in Wellfleet, MA

TLGV Board member Marty Nieski and his wife Catherine have graciously donated a week at their very private, country, post-and-beam home in Wellfleet, MA on a tidal estuary. Enjoy solitude and natural beauty on the Cape. This 2,600 square foot home is air conditioned and sleeps 8 people. It is available any week except July 4th week. 5.  Soar Across The Last Green Valley with Leslie Sweetnam

Aerial photographer Leslie Sweetnam will show you a view of The Last Green Valley as only he can. Sweetnam has offered a one-hour flight for you and two guests (up to a total of 450 lbs) on a date to be mutually determined and weather dependent. Sweetnam’s photos of the region are well-known and can be seen on our promotional materials, as well as those of other organizations, and hanging in our offices and other locations throughout the region. Sweetnam said “I have a standard tour down the Quinebaug River and back up the Shetucket and Willimantic Rivers to the beautiful country around Bigelow Hollow, and back across Woodstock, circling over anything that interests you, but we can head in any direction that gets us home within the hour. To be sure that you enjoy the flight, we’ll fly early or late in the day, when the winds are lightest.  The best view of details on the ground is in the winter, when the obscuring canopy has fallen.  We have headphones for all for ease of communication. It may take some time to schedule based on weather and availability, but we’ll find a time to share unforgettable views that you don’t get from the roads.” Donated by Leslie Sweetnam. 6.     The Barn at Roseland Park Rental (Sunday – Thursday)

8.  Tom Menard Painting

This painting by acclaimed local artist Tom Menard captures many historic and recognizable buildings in the Town of Brooklyn in this 28.5″ tall x 72.25″ wide original oil painting. “The quaint little towns of New England have provided his greatest inspiration.
