TLGV Acorn Adventure: Slithery & Slimy: Amphibians and Reptiles

 5/05/2024 @ 2:00 pm

Please note this event has been moved from April 28 to May 5. Spring means muck and the muck is full of life! Frogs and their eggs, salamanders, fish and turtles use muck for important parts of their lifecycle. We’ll explore the edges of Garrison Pond in Chaplin with TLGV Rangers Christie Hazen and Bill Reid. We’ll bring the nets and water buckets to gather the critters and give them a closer inspection. Wear boots that will keep your feet dry and plan on getting dirty! We’ll also have some fun information on some of the critters we expect to find! Contact Ranger Bill for more information at 860-774-3300 or email bill@tlgv.org. Registration is required to ensure we have enough materials and respect the wildlife. Acorn Adventures are always free thanks to the generous sponsorship of Centreville Bank. Hosted by The Last Green Valley.
