We're celebrating 33 years of Walktober in 2023! Our many partners are helping to make this Walktober incredible and shine a light on this amazing National Heritage Corridor. We have wide-open spaces to explore with more than 280 walks, hikes, historic tales, paddles, bike rides, farm visits and more offered by dedicated and passionate Walktober leaders and the generous sponsors that make it happen. Thank you to them all!

Be sure to check the online Walktober Calendar for updates, additions and cancellations!

You can find a printed Walktober calendar at your local library, town hall or many businesses, or you can call the office at 860 774-3300 and we will mail a copy to you.

We are still accepting Walktober submissions for the online calendar. Leaders - find the online event submission form here and please read our Walktober Event Submission Tips regarding event difficulty, ex. the difference between a hike vs. a walk. Call 860-774-3300 or email with any questions or to talk through any ideas.
