Acorn Adventure For Families: Sun & Moon

Everyone always tells you don’t look directly at the sun, but today you can. TLGV’s Night Sky Rangers Geoff and Kim will bring their properly equipped telescopes to help us see the sun up close. Sunspots, Ellerman bombs and more can be spotted. While we’re out we’ll be taking a closer look at the moon and its craters too. This program will be held in the field near the overlook shelter.
