Happy, happy June! Our strawberries are ripening up beautifully and we will open up for the season on this Saturday, June 8th!
Hours beginning on that day will be: Monday through Saturday from 8 am until noon,
Monday AND Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 pm, and closed on Sunday.
Some things you’ll want to know:
-We will be out in the field in our big tent, as is the usual plan for strawberry season, with lots of other goodies for your shopping pleasure, including our famous apple cider donuts. You can get your picking flats there, and cash out in the tent when you’re finished. Our regular stand in the building is closed until blueberry season in late July.
-Our new fields this year are both situated quite a distance from the tent, so we will be running a wagon ride continuously from the tent to the picking fields, and back.
-A portable toilet is stationed near the tent for your convenience.
-We will have quarts of prepicked strawberries available each morning for those who cannot, or would prefer not to, pick their own.
-We’re open rain or shine, except for during lightning storms or very heavy rain. No one wants to be out in the open fields for that!
-Children of all ages are perfectly welcome in our picking fields! We want you and your family to have a great experience. We would just ask that you keep them near you in the field, and away from other fruits that aren’t ready yet.
We are so looking forward to welcoming you back to our farm for Harvest 2024! So far, this year is setting up to be a much, much better one than 2023.
