May 3 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Learn all the basics of wheel throwing, handbuilding, and decorating.

It is not often that we are able to offer a beginner class, but we’ve suddenly got a free evening!

In this class, you’ll work primarily on the pottery wheel. On the first night, you’ll learn how to prep your clay and throw a bowl on the wheel! In each subsequent week, you’ll build on your skills. You’ll learn to trim and glaze your pieces as well as work with more clay, learning other forms such as mugs and plates. You will also create a slab-built mug.

Cost: $340 + $25 tool kit

This includes 16 free hours of open studio time but does not include firing fees, which are based on the size of the pieces you create.

*** Please note: Please CALL the studio to register for this class. This class historically fills within hours of posting. Please do not email, as we may not get the email in time and the class may fill.
