Introduction to Ecological Landscaping for Clean Water
February 12 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
This introductory workshop is the first session in a three-part training series focused on ecological landscaping and green infrastructure solutions that support clean water and healthy watersheds.
Participants will learn how everyday landscaping decisions influence stormwater runoff and water quality and will be introduced to practical ecological landscaping and green infrastructure practices that can be applied at residential and community scales. The session is designed to be accessible for beginners while still offering useful insights for landscapers, gardening professionals, and homeowners.
Additional sessions in this series will be held in March and April and will focus on meadow design, installation, and maintenance, as well as large-scale green infrastructure and BMP implementation. Free to attend. Registration required. Limited spots available. Registration Link: https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/ecological-landscaping-green-infrastructure-4809178
