Landscape Border Bounties-The Power of Planting for Wildlife and Wellbeing

May 17 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Charlton Heritage Preservation Talk - Landscape Border Bounties (1)

Habitat borders attract and support some of the widest diversities of birds, insects and animals.  Planned plantings along borders between woods and lawns ease the aesthetic transition, while benefiting the local fauna.  Landowners can take advantage of the beauty of flowering trees, bushes and plants while being able to forage some fresh fruit and berries for themselves.  Nate and Lucy from Reimagined Roots will walk you through the benefits of border landscaping and present some strategies that can be put to use in your own yard.
