An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, repeating until December 29, 2023
This class is perfect for complete beginners or for new potters who really want to work on their skills before moving to an intermediate class. The class is 100% on the pottery wheel. You’ll start the first night by learning how to “wedge” your clay and “throw” bowls on the pottery wheel.
Next, you’ll learn how to trim and finish your bowls to prep them for the kiln. From there, you’ll try other shapes like plates and mugs. Towards the end of the week you’ll continue building skills as well as learn how to glaze your pots.
