Step back in time and meet Norwich’s citizens from the 1700s. Join us for an interactive scavenger hunt through the Norwichtown Colonial Burying Ground where you’ll learn about colonial customs, gravestone art, and hear the stories of Norwich’s earliest citizens. Armed with your scavenger hunt, you’ll explore windy paths and scan grave markers for symbols while learning about the lives of those who helped shape the City of Norwich. This event is perfect for families who love history and enjoy searching for clues. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a sense of adventure! Parking is at 34 East Town Street Norwich, CT 06360 at the United Community and Family Services Headquarters (Samuel Huntington House). We will gather at the parking lot and all walk to the Norwichtown Colonial Burying Ground as a group.
