Join the Ashford Historical Society at the site of the old Ashford Green to learn about the Ashford Academy, the oldest public building in Ashford. Built in 1825, it served as a school until 1949. See a classroom as it may have been 75 years ago. Learn how classes may have been taught and peek at the outhouse. Collections of the Society will be on display. There will be tours of the Fitts Cemetery next door. Take pictures next to our Constitution Oak. And, of course, enjoy some goodies from our bake sale.
