Hike along a trail with various identified tree species, see Native American Chestnut trees, and backcross breed chestnut trees, the tabletop overlook, rock quarry remains, fern-covered wetlands, ledges, and an old homestead stone foundation. Also, possible ancient stonework formations will be sighted. Located in the Plainfield section of Pachaug State Forest. Approximately 2 miles.
