Due to weather, this event has been RESCHEDULED to 10/10.
We will search for a diverse group of animals, from beavers and bats to migrating birds and resident owls, that become active during crepuscular time, that period of decreasing light around sunset. On this slow-paced journey of discovery, we’ll use our eyes and ears, as well as special technology that can translate sounds, including inaudible high-pitched bat calls, into visual depictions called sonograms. To add to your enjoyment, please download the free Cornell Merlin Bird ID app to your phone in advance of this event! (merlin.allaboutbirds.org/download/) Service animals only. This walk will be amplified. For detailed accessibility information or to request sign language interpretation, email avalonialc@yahoo.com or call 860-884-3500.
