This exhibit explores the experiences of local people caught in the turmoil of the American Revolution by examining the artifacts they left behind. Highlighted are the stone on which Revolutionary artist John Trumbull ground paint pigments, familiar and lesser-known women’s stories and artifacts connected to Norwich native Benedict Arnold.
