Gov. Samuel Huntington would often venture back to what he’d refer to as Huntingdale, his birthplace farmstead in Scotland as a respite from his duties as governor of our state. Assemble at the Huntington Homestead Museum for a leisurely stroll around the 14-acre property to discover its former farmland uses through the years with an optional free tour of the Homestead following the walk. Heavy rain will trigger the rain date. Sponsored by Huntington Homestead, huntingtonhomestead.org
